Here, the Window is likened to our screens: both mediate inside and out, a static frame through which variables move, and meaning is projected. We gaze and assign emotion, constructing narratives from the surface. While the social, political and economic architectures shift invisibly and we adapt. Through our devices, we occupy an overlapping terrain, both public and private, intimate and performative. Each swipe or post becomes a negotiation between self-presentation and surveillance. The opposite of invisibility is no longer being seen.
Self-made: Invisible Architectures seeks to locate the paradox of our public and private lives, where exposure becomes a form of hiding, and visibility becomes a kind of erasure through conformity.
